ANNA BARRIBALL
Mirror Window Wall III, 2008
“In Mirror Window Wall II, the four ‘panes’ are each framed and arranged close together, leaving a
narrow gap between them that mimics a cross bar in a window frame. The parts that stand in for the glass are impressions of a brick wall. And they shine, like a mirror. There is a whole dynamic of the look being blocked off rather than transparent - of being reflected back onto the viewer as a mirrored surface might.”
Briony Fer (2011) Anna Barriball, Fruitmarket Gallery & MK Gallery
