Join Massimo Bartolini, Caterina Barbieri, Francesca Verga and Anna Leonardi for the presentation of a new music score accompanying Bartolini’s project ‘Due Qui / To hear’ at the Italian Pavilion, Biennale Arte 2024, Venice and published in partnership with SZ Sugar.
The publication is available both as a simple music score, and as a limited edition with 7 pencil drawings on paper by Bartolini. The publication includes scores for all three large sound installations presented at the Italian Pavilion: Pensive Bodhisattva on A Flat, Due qui (composed by Caterina Barbieri and Kali Malone) and A veces ya no puedo moverme (composed by Gavin Bryars and Yuri Bryars) as well as text by Luca Cerizza, curator of the Italian Pavilion.
The project is realized as part of the activities of the Italian Pavilion at the 2024 Venice Art Biennale, curated by Luca Cerizza and promoted by the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
Massimo Bartolini, Due qui / To Hear is at the Italian Pavilion until 24 November 2024.
