Massimo Bartolini and Gavin Bryars

To celebrate the opening of the Sparse steps, Massimo Bartolini will be in conversation with the composer Gavin Bryars. This will be followed by two musical performances by Gavin Bryars and Yuri Bryars in the exhibition space presenting a new composition written specially for Sparse steps. Bryars worked initially with Bartolini for the installation In là (Prato 2022) and, in 2024, with Yuri Bryars created the outdoor installation for Due qui / To Hear at La Biennale di Venezia.
